Neva Tesolin was born and educated in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. Mother of two, she earned the Vice Chancellor's Medal at Brock University where she studied piano and composition with Marc Widner, and Dr. Ronald Tremain. Living in Niagara gave her opportunities to teach, perform and compose.
      Neva draws her inspiration from nature, children, patterns and life experience. Her classical compositions have been performed locally - Ballad for Adrian (flute/piano), Miniatures in India (cello/piano), and The Broken Islands (piano trio). Neva has recently completed a set of études for  the intermediate piano student using jazz elements.
